American Solar Offers Heating Project Design and Installation

American Solar, Inc. designs, markets and installs a unique solar heat recovery system. Our systems use conventional roofing and siding materials. We develop solar projects for a wide range of government, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers. We do not service residential customers.

American Solar is the only company that uses conventional metal roofing and siding as solar collector surfaces. Our roofing and siding systems deliver large solar collectors with conventional appearance and significant solar tax credits and energy savings for the building owners and tenants.

The American Solar system uses metal roofing and siding as the weather-tight roof or wall. A small electric fan moves air behind the metal roofing or siding, heating the air up to 150 degrees. The system delivers solar heated air to the building to reduce or eliminate conventional gas, electric, or oil energy use. The systems collect 10 to 15 times more solar heat energy than the electric energy consumed to run the fans.

Our staff includes design engineers, installation personnel, and project managers. We team with metal roofing contractors and HVAC companies to deliver projects throughout the United States.

American Solar, Inc was founded in 2001. Since that time, the company has designed and installed projects for Federal facilities, military bases, and industrial/commercial facilities. We have completed more than 70 design and/or installation projects ranging from $50,000 to $600,000+.
